Therapy can be so helpful. But a lot of people don’t realize that getting diagnosed and framing your issues pathologically is only the beginning of the journey. You have to put in actual work to improve yourself.

Dudes love that shit. “I love your free spirit”. Then the woman exhibits said free-spirited behavior.  “But not like that.”

Or pics of your said girl wearing what amounts to what she has to wear to do her job. Next thing you know he’s gonna date an exotic dancer and be jealous.

Probably not a good idea to date a surfer chick if you get jealous of guy friends.

I mostly agree with the assertions of this article, and would add to it that vague “therapist-speak” is also used by millenials and zoomers to avoid obligations or what used to be called “character building” discomforting experiences.

I have doubts that it will be a huge failure. The first movie was a huge hit.

Two things:

I am Jack’s retro themed Executive office?

I think quite a few people would disagree with your assessment of the quality of most of the particular films you chose.

WandaVision was pretty awesome.

Those folks should check out a couple of billion dollar animated films called Spiderverse that are super pluralist, diverse, and queer.

Dude, either you work for the Mouse or need to get a life.

I feel like you intentionally missed the point of the article to fit in with what you want to see. The point is that Elemental has much longer legs than expected and is sticking around when most analysts thought it would drop off completely. Has it been a huge success? No but only two animated movies have this year:

But I was told if you ‘went woke’ you’d ‘go broke’... you mean that wasn’t true?

Part of me wonders if the MCU could benefit from a one year break. One year where they don’t release any new movies or TV shows.

The only ‘Multiverse of Madness’ is trying to interlink all these damn movies. I knew it was the ‘Kiss of Death’ once they tried to do what Marvel did as a kid.

After the third Avengers movie, that was it; it was all babble to her, and I have to admit, me too.

If they could have resisted giving Shang Chi powers, when for the vast majority of his existence NOT having powers was kind of the point, they would have less of a FX crunch for his films and more tonal variety from the standard MCU fare.  But,no, fucking light beams it is.

I appreciate how Jon Hamm, once Mad Men wrapped up, could’ve done the predictable leading man action movie star thing, and basically said “Nah. I’m going to do comedies and weird shit.” And the world is better for it.

Jon Hamm is a wildly underrated/underused comedic actor. I think knowing he can do Don Draper has kind of hampered his real talents as a goofball.
