I dont think you should read his comments to be that there will be no mention of his origin, just that they aren’t going to show it again.

Haha. Don’t forget, “he is the blueprint”. Also, we’re “too simple to understand”.

I’ve been thinking alternate universe shenanigans. Ciric can travel between worlds so maybe she just ends up in one where Geralt is slightly different.

Me watching a Zack Snyder movie: “Huh. This has some pretty cool cinematography. Wow. This cast spent a lot of time in the gym. Okay, why does this shot need to be in slow motion? Alright, who thought that line was a good idea? Who wrote this script? Okay, I’m being cynical. Let’s just try to enjoy the action. Hold

Also, the last push to turn Narnia into a major franchise was spearheaded by the Christian billionaire Philip Anschutz, and if he decided it wasn’t worth the trouble to court religious viewers, I don’t see how a nominally secular approach with an avowedly feminist filmmaker is going to work.

Tron- yes!

I think the biggest enemy of the film is probably Zack Snyder.

According to her recent profile in the New Yorker (via Comic Book), Barbie director Greta Gerwig is committed to direct “at least two” Chronicles of Narnia movies at Netflix.

Because it’s truckers that make truck stops places that everyone else avoids as much as possible on a road trip.

Do you have a diesel truck? Have you been on the trucker side of the island at night? When you fill up on the trucker side of the island on the regular, you’ll understand why a place that’s trying to be a tourist attraction and advertise clean bathrooms doesn’t want to deal with pee bottles.

It really does, pretty much the exact kind of place to have for charging stops, stop, wander, micturate, ingest, all while your car chugs down electrons on a fast charger, get enough range for another two hours or so on the freeway. Would do wonders for road trip anxiety in more rural areas.

They are full of shit or deranged. No sane person thinks that.

A better question is have you actually read the novel Dune? You know - the story both movies were adapting and therefore will necessitate some of the same story beats and plot points?

They’re based on the same novel, dude. Apart from Villeneuve sticking closer to Herbert’s than Lynch (no weirding modules, more scenes with Duncan), it was inevitable that the two movies would share a lot of the same scenes and the same dialogue. And design-wise, both movies borrow heavily from John Schoenherr’s

Wow.

Dennis essentially just upgraded the special effects and copied David Lynch’s version (practically) shot for shot.

So that’s Batman, The Doctor and now Superman being played by people younger than me. I know it’s inevitable, but it still comes as a shock. I might just beat the next Bond if they cast him soon, but I’m not going to hold my breath.

This is solid casting.

It is not. Bitsie Tulloch is 42, Tyler Hoechlin is 35. Teri Hatcher is 2 years older than Dean Cain. Margot Kidder was older than Christopher Reeve.

i dont know who these people are but i trust James Gunn enough. plus it doesnt matter as long as the movies good.
