Yes. There is Scherzer, Corbin and Strasburg in their very division.

In all fairness to Stroman, a trade to the Mets does feel like a punishment.

I wouldn’t know, I don’t see color, only character,

As a Yankee fan, I’m dusting off the book I bought back when they signed A-Rod, called “How to Rationalize Rooting for an Asshole.”

Let’s be clear - puking in a bathroom of a gas station 7/11 off the interstate after you just spent the last of your money on meth is rock bottom.

That bus is a sad monument to a sad story.

QAnon: rich people control everything and only a rich grifter and a cabal of horrible racists can expose the truth to save us all!

People like her are also the reason why we shouldn’t

But if Republicans really want to unseat Omar—who was elected by near-historic margins in 2018—they should probably find a better candidate than one who believes in ludicrous conspiracy theories, as GOP challenger Danielle Stella seems to.

People like Danielle Stella are the reason we have warning stickers on hairdryers telling you not to use them in the shower.

Jack Crosbie really wanted to tell NDT to “go back to where he came from”, but had to settle on “shut the fuck up”, because it is so much kinder and gentler, him being Mr Woke.

Counterpoint: NDT has taught me many things, and Jack Crosbie has not enriched my life in literally any conceivable way.

Also, if you are anything but English speaking Anglo protestant, they will extend it to you after they’re done kicking out persons of color.

signed, a Jew.

See, all these idiots thought they transcended the color of their skin.

And is there any question, based on that segment, about whether Mr Rogers would have accepted an out gay charatcer if he were making the show today? No question in my mind.

A minor quibble to add to the big-picture criticisms others have already expressed so well, but where’s this coming from?

Well, what do you think Rogers was going to do/say? Especially as the host of a children’s program in the late 1960s? It’s actually remarkable that he kept him on. In the mid-70s, my middle school fired an openly gay teacher because parents complained. Being gay was incredibly difficult during that time; Rogers’

I’m not crying, you’re crying.

On the show, he would say, “I love you just the way you are.” One day I said, “Fred, were you talking to me?” And he looked at me and he said, “Yes, I’ve been talking to you for two years and you finally heard me today.” And I just collapsed into his arms. I started crying. That’s when I knew I loved him.

I don’t see where you’ve also acknowledged that there was a production company and PBS making the show and therefore would have reacted strongly against an openly gay man working on a childrens show. There was probably a threat of cancelling the whole show, and perhaps that is why Fred Rogers reacted the way he did.
