Cannon fodder? I don't think the US government has spent tens of thousands...likely hundreds by now...to train and educate me so that I can be tossed out there as "cannon fodder." Shut your ignorant mouth with its off hand tongue-in-cheek statements. As Abe once said, better to let us just think you are dumb than to

I'd like to have one that smells like "napalm in the morning." Also cordite. I love the smell at the range after a few hundred guys have been shooting belt fed weapons all day. Smells like freedom.

Actually, word is that a HK416 was used. This is according to a blog that actually specializes in, you know, military stuff...

agreed commander k. Since when was being politically correct a requirement for naming my dog? For the life of me I don't understand why pandering to every cultural sensitivity and possible offense to some certain group of people has become the expected norm.

Not. It only has one barrel. Its an M2HB machine gun. Designed by John Browning about 100 years ago. We have yet to find a design to replace it.

@ pj_rage: Absolutely true. I have ADHD. Its essentially a life skill of mine to procrastinate. Even the increasing doses of Adderall does little to help sometimes. But yeah, I can assure that this would instantly become my hyperfocus distraction. I mean the whole idea is that I can sell this and spend the rest of my

We've been knocking out the Prison Break as well. At first, I really liked it. I started watching it in college when it came out. Now, deep into the third season, if I have to hear Scofield keep breathing through his mouth and saying everything all dramatic and raspy, I might kill myself. Its like watching Jack Bauer.

Ours does this constantly. I'm not sure I'd say its Frontier that causes it so much as just not having enough down speed. Here in fabulous Arkansas—where the internets only arrived in 2007—we pay like $50 a month for 2mbps. I was paying $40, but then we moved farther out into the country last week. Supposedly there's

Outstanding. I see what you did there.

So true. Why would you even want a technique for hurrying out of showers? Taking a nap in there is half the point.

doesn't matter. he still definitely wins.

Also, if you don't have a Roth IRA, to me that's your first step. Forget single symbol brokerage accounts. Especially if you don't have the time/energy/knowledge to consistently research and follow a company. If that's the case then a single symbol portfolio is risky no matter what company it is. You'd do much better

Of course you can pull out whenever you want. If you own less than a year, sell, and make money on the sell, then your capital gains taxes are a bitch. Own it more than a year and its considered a "long-term" position and the taxes are still there but less. Sell the stock at a loss, and instead of paying taxes, you

You're both wrong. In the South, its the War of Northern Aggression.

@madog: They already said no to this in the announcement. Dodged it though, saying, "It will do the same as other CDMA phones."

The GPSKit app already does this without the additional hardware. Its newest feature allows others to follow you as you backpack/hike/whatever outside of cell service. You can also send short texts. I work as a guide, and we have a Spot. Its essentially useless now, and made so by a $10 one-time purchase app.

@MrEvil: I see what you did there. Good form.
