I liked him in S1, I had patience for he & Daya in S2, but when characters are stupid with no sign of growth or learning…. tsk!

I could get into it if it was presented as horrible, but I feel like the show is presenting it as "sweet".

Healy/Red is gross because its the same thing as Daya/Bennett, in that it feels like the show is presenting it as "cute" or "romantic"… as if these characters are peers with no power hierarchy.
It grosses me out.

But I could accept that as the reality of the situation…

S1 and S2 I was on the edge of my seat.
Now it feels like we're hanging out.
Which is cool, just different.

I feel like it LOOKS different, and there's less incidental music cues.

I don't think there's the SHOWTIME™ pressure to go heavy on the "stoner/bro/kevin nealon" vibe.

I feel like there's a lot of Piper/Alex fan service aimed for where the fans were between S1 and S2… but the fans have moved on, and thats not what ("we"? "they"?) wanna see in S3.

It felt especially off after all that "Someone stole it! No, *I* stole it! No, now someone *REALLY* stole it!" back-and-forth.

And this is beyond the characters being stupid, this is the show being stupid.
