I believe she's in that new WALKING DEAD spin-off.
I believe she's in that new WALKING DEAD spin-off.
I like the words of the monologue, but didn't it feel it was coming from The Writers or Delaria rather than Big Boo?
Many words that just would not be in her vocabulary.
This was the first time it felt like "just a show" to me, and not LITERATURE.
The S2 premiere was so dynamic and SCARY; this seemed so light and airy.
I appreciated the S2 premiere, because sometimes Litchfield DOES seem more like summer camp than prison, and I felt like this episode was relatively low stakes.
This was so fascinating to me, not so much because of COLUMBIA HOUSE, but how the whole culture and concept of 'work" has changed…
You had your work, you had your creative life, and you had your life.
Now there is no line between "work" and "life" and forget about "creative".
"art-house legitimacy", how's that?
I still believe Paulie G was the one stalking Juna in S1!
"Here's The Meat!"
We don't know what Mark has sacrificed over the years for Valerie's career.
If you see Valerie's Quest For Fame as an addiction, Mark's position becomes more understandable.
She's studying fashion in NYC.
They got her an apartment.
Asking Tyler to look after Mickey and make sure he's ok may be my favorite Valerie moment.
Yes, the woman director feels compelled to keep the whole crew entertained.
Paulie G would never feel that need.
Kudrow is also a smart businessperson behind the scenes!
I always assumed HE was the one who left the threatening note in Juna's dressing room in Season 1!
Yes, I bet Paulie G has written a "love story" between him and the Juna character.
With the first season, when it originally aired, I did not understand that there was a narrative build, saw only a few episodes out of order, and did not "get it".
Years later, I watched again, understanding there was a progression, and am now *DEVOTED* to The Comeback.
"If she doesn't get an Emmy for this, I'm gonna SEE RED!!!"
My interpretation was that Paulie G considered himself "above" a sitcom like ROOM AND BORED, that the casting of "has-been" Valerie and the reality-show aspect were all foisted on him against his will and, to him, symbolized "selling out".
They're both from GROUNDLINGS!
Valerie would be SO BORED by THE WIRE!
