I don't know who is my favorite: Mickey or Jane… but, GODDESS, I LOVE THEM!!!!
I don't know who is my favorite: Mickey or Jane… but, GODDESS, I LOVE THEM!!!!
Mickey is one of The Greatest TV Characters EVER!
The same way it came out when she sang I WILL SURVIVE!
"Wouldn't let me be in the picture…"
We should mention that the album version is very different from the single version!
I find the lyrics deep and melancholy, often in direct opposition to the music; that's part of why I love them so much!
¡HALLELUJAH HARE KRISHNA!
It DID get a LOT better!!!!
Dear Grace & Frankie,
I don't want the season to end, but if it must…
May I move into The Beach House with you til Season 2?
Being a freelance creative ANYTHING.
I like Robert, especially his "Grace deserves to have some fun"!
Robert is simply gay.
Sol considers himself "gay for Robert", which is something very different.
"Robertsexual", as @gwahir puts it!
I also appreciate that now we have context for Robert's mistrust/jealousy of Sol & Frankie's friendship; in his mind, its Sol's dithering that got them obligated to 5 more years of marriage.
My favorite was Grace's failed joke ("Its so rich")
and Frankie's "Its good that you're trying."
This is what I thought, too.
That moment in the pool…
He may come across as a stereotype to some, but he is SO REAL as an elder queen who's only ever spoken about his feelings in code, taking his first steps out of the closet.
And Sheen seems to RELISH the role!
Also: PLEASE continue with these fashion shoutouts!
I agree about the rewatch!
I watched half the season by myself first, and, while I enjoyed it, I had a lot of reservations. I was focused on story structure, editing, did that joke land? etc.
But then I watched again from the beginning with my sister, and we had SUCH A GOOD TIME watching it! I could just relax and ENJOY!
This show began to find its focus on episode 5, kept improving, and THIS is the episode that I wholeheartedly, without reservation, say "I LOVE THIS SHOW".
Oh, I LOVE how Martin Sheen is playing this character!
I absolutely recognize him as the older type of uptight queen who is taking his first steps out of the closet.
And he seems to be having so much FUN with the role, too!
I think Robert can be a manipulative bitch, but I LOVE Martin Sheen's performance!
He seems to be having so much FUN with his character!
