Watching with my sister was a real bonding experience.

It doesn't interfere with my enjoyment, but if Sol is living with Robert, WHO is living in Frankie & Sol's house?

He also invented music and being gay.

I liked that we got the sense of how much STRENGTH Robert must have been drawing (& depending on) from Grace all these years.

Is it a spoiler if I say that it begins to come together in EP 5 and solidifies in EP 6?
I say that as someone who would have given up after the first episode if not for my warm feelings for Lily and Jane.

This show is SO MUCH BETTER when it doesn't TRY to be "funny".

I LIKE the show when it doesn't TRY to be funny.
(though thats about 60% me WANTING to like it)
There's something WEIRD about the editing… You can tell where the script said [PAUSE FOR LAUGHTER].

My sister watches this show in earnest, while I make fun of it.
But its something we do together, so i will miss that.

During SANDY, there really WERE people running around screaming about it being "The End Of The World"!

I'm sure most rapists do not consider what they've done to be rape.
And they think they are pretty nice guys.

I think she DOES and thats WHY she's so abusive to him: to keep him at arms length, to control him, to keep a protective wall around her heart,

Also think: her kid has basically dumped her for his father.
Does she have anything else going on in her life?

Also: I think she GENUINELY BELIEVED he was putting her on until he ACTUALLY got up from the table to leave.

Especially at one part, where her voice dropped real low, as if she was hoping he wouldn't hear that part!

Watch ELEVATOR 1-6 as a movie, it totally works!

Especially felt that with the claustrophobia of the FAIRWAY scenes!

I watched ELEVATOR 1-6 as a stand-alone film last night.
It was wonderful.
I recommend watching it that way!
