There’s also a Microsoft Rewards quest in the Rewards app for 2000 points when you spend more than $10 in the store, roughly saving you $1-2 on it. (dont forget to activate the punch card first though)

You’re not missing much with the loss of the MP, it was a huge glitchy mess in the original release.

Ahh, ok. I was unaware of that. That’s at least better.

So, they’re basically making DLC, but making you buy the game all over again to play it?

Please tell me one of the stretch goals is to make PS5 “portable.” Pretty sure youd end up looking like those people that bring their iMac or entire desktop to Panera/Starbucks to play WoW years ago.

Just think of it as getting paid to do something you LOVE. Salary is just an arbitrary number that shouldn’t matter in this case because you LOVE doing it. Don’t forget all the EXPOSURE you’ll get!

If this ends up where you can pick different eras with different assassins, areas are added to support a story, and still single player, I can be ok with that. But if this ends up trying to be something like Destiny where there’s lobbies of people running around and you join each other on missions....I don’t think I

People buying for their kids are in the direct age range to have grown up on this song, that is who this ad is for. They see a $500 console as a bit much, but break it down into monthly payments and it’s easier to swallow.

I’m kinda looking forward to the Ascent being added to Game Pass at the end of July.

the 2 DLCs were basically horde mode. Every room was just an onslaught of enemies. It felt so much different from the main game that I lost interest pretty fast and found it to not be fun. Think I’ll pass on this.

If they require everyone in attendance and showing on the floor to show proof of vaccination and still wear masks, then I’d feel more safe. The only problem I see is after the show, with the possibility of someone passing the virus on to someone else that isn’t vaccinated because they thought they were safe with the

Got it. Some of the article sounded to me like it was just about the process of getting in the store. Agreed though, this is normal for any platform.

To me, it sounded like the problem is that it’s extremely hard to even get your game on the store, unless you pay $25k+. Charging for marketing is the norm, but charging to make it easier to get your game on the store in the first place or make it near impossible seems a bit scummy.

I loafed out loud!

Isn’t PS Now also mainly a streaming service, where Game Pass offers streaming, but is mainly a subscription service? Sony would probably do much better with PS Now to offer more than just streaming.

Acquiring a studio that is already making exclusives for you is hardly a “snipe”

Should probably be titled “25 Iconic Directors and Their Debut Movies”

Was hoping we would get a Disco Elysium Final Cut date for Xbox/Switch. Supposed to be Summer 2021, but haven’t heard anything since December.

Anyone think that at some point they’re pushing boundaries they know Twitch won’t like so they will get banned? They get banned, Kotaku and other outlets write an article, they push their OnlyFans site. It’s a win for them in every way.

To my understanding, the investors wanted the game out and wouldn’t allow anymore delays. From there it was just a trickle down shower of shit on everyone else. If investors won’t pay for anymore time, there’s only so much that can be done. At that point, cancelling the game would have been an even bigger disaster. So
