I did call 911 before knowing of 988 and somewhat regretted it. My ex thought she was being arrested, when the police did handle it as well as they could, but them being there is just not a calming presence. 

I have a feeling Ted isn’t just playing a jerk on tv. Some of these guys I get that vibe from and they seem to have friends of all walks of life (Limbaugh and Seth Macfarlane, Ann Coulter and Bill Maher, Scalia and RBG), but most of the GOP has personally attested to disliking Ted.
