I’ve never actually sat and watched Reno 911 but I admire its ability to come back so many times 

This makes me cringe as much as “what if puppets.....HAD SEX AND MURDER PEOPLE?!” does when the Happy Time Murders came out long after Avenue Q and Team America perfected the joke.

And Charlie Day as Luigi, I do hope he isn’t sidelined the whole film 

As much as I love Charles Martinet and his videos, I can’t see that voice working for an entire movie’s worth of dialogue.

I can see this being the case. Takei lives off of his social media fame, while Shatner has more stuff going on (if in part because he consciously hogged the spotlight during his time with Star Trek)

Yeah, some people it just takes too much to get along with, and life’s too short to make constant compromises when the other side won’t do so back. 

I think the Kelvin movies were extremely dumbed down, but if anything started the decline of Star Trek into action schlock it was First Contact. I think part of that was the kids were looking well past high school age by that point. These kids got a few years in them before worrying about that. 

It does seem like what would happen with Eric, but I’m kind of tired of belated sequels with depressing plots.
