Pro athletes are in their own universe, it’s a mix of macho culture and various quack doctors telling them they don’t need it. That and not having to go to normal people places means they don’t really get pushed to wear masks or vaccinate.

I still measure it in years somewhat, especially if a show has an ongoing story. Big Mouth isn’t super linear, but it’s not episodic either

I’m very excited but also a bit nervous for the show, for the reasons listed above. Season 5 is basically middle aged for a comedy show. How many hot-button topics can they hit, while also balancing the humor and various monsters they encounter? They hit a few snags with the phone plot IMO, so sometimes their ideas…

He makes everything great. Third Rock From the Sun with any other cast would’ve been a bit too stupid to work. But the cast of that show was impeccable, especially him. 

Dexter getting caught is like Charlie Brown kicking the football. It just can’t happen. I wanted a better resolution to his story though, and all the stuff with Debra seemed really contrived. 

It emboldened Star Wars Prequel fans. Suddenly they were acting like the prequels were some secret work of genius, when they weren’t. They weren’t deep, they were poorly made and acted, and the sequels don’t suddenly negate how shitty they were. Now- it’s fine to like crappy things, I enjoy Family Guy after all, but…

I didn’t hate the final seasons, mostly just the Debra plot and the finale itself.

I was wondering how much of that was based on real stuff. Stone sometimes unearths true things but also sometimes speculates to the point of “nah that didn’t REALLY happen!”
