I think a ton of people truly don’t get the work/risk that goes into a film production. Even for the actors themselves. It’s not just some fun home video.

Yeah, many of them especially 80's slashers have drunk/high/promiscuous teens as the victims, I think it’s not always a conscious decision, they just want a reason why kids wouldn’t notice an obvious threat.
