Also Patti Labelle’s If you Asked Me To- which Bond actually references in his last line for the film.

Dalton for all his iciness still to this day is probably the most gentlemanly, he is fairly invested in his lovers and they made a point for him not to sleep around (due to the AIDS crisis) Brosnan is a bit cringe in his horndog attitude and Craig’s Bond is just visibly disturbed as a human being.

I do think Casino works best with a “newer” Bond because of the betrayal at the end. Brosnan does imply he has dead lovers and a dead Tracy, so he’s likely too world-weary to fall for the trap.

GE also contends with a post-Soviet world better than any other Bond film, even the post-9/11 Casino Royale. CR really only tangentially mentions non-government terrorism. The threat isn’t that immediate, it’s just they accidentally give terrorists money. That’s...happened so many times before.

I would love to see a version of that song Let it Be Naked style, removing the studio jiggery pokery and just having the vocals and instruments. I think it would be better if not-techno (not that I even hate techno) or done by someone different. The actual sequence of Bond being tortured was great, I also wish they

He was amazing as the robot-house in that Simpsons Halloween episode

Brosnan had a bit of both sides to Bond: The Moore suaveness combined with the Connery/Dalton/Craig ruthlessness. People forget that Brosnan’s Bond straight-up murders a few people in cold blood. Has Craig even done that?

Ah good Red is in it, they can’t do it without him!

First episode will be at his tombstone

I think technically it should be the early 00's by now, when the show started it was roughly 20 years in the past, not that they aged in real time

ehh, no Peg

Having lived in a house that was made to go dry in the 00's, the alums from the 80's and 90's who were inspired by that movie and revenge of the nerds were the absolute worst. the slightly older ones would speak of drinking but it was usually in a classier way. They of course had their own issues of blatant racism

Yeah the Panhel groups are extremely disciplined and don’t allow drinking, require house directors and whatnot.

I disagree somewhat for the women’s groups and the cultural groups, especially the African American orgs. They have their own issues but they’re also huge parts of community service and organizing for political movements (MLK was in Alpha Phi Alpha, John Lewis Phi Beta Sigma, etc)

They can’t at public schools due to freedom of association. They can however stop giant underage parties like the ones this particular frat holds and hold them to sanctions.

I have connections to UMass, and having joined a fraternity that adopted the Survivor’s Bill of Rights years ago (and expelled a member who was accused of groping a girl) its enraging how bad this university is at responding to these issues. The Title IX office hasn’t solved any rape cases since 2019, they’re

Scarlet Johannsson quietly dropped from the shortlist

Aww very disappointed in Glen Davis, he was a favorite on the late 00's Celtics

She’s kind of awful but I also want her to have yet another comeback and show those kids what’s what.

It would be nice, but I think the NY machine will arrange for her downfall, either that or she will be stopped at every turn.
