It’s not really that complicated. Sylvester Stallone didn’t voice John Rambo in the Rambo cartoon from the 80's. But Rambo toys were made based on that cartoon.

I feel like I’ve heard about a ton of stuff that was cut from this movie. Including Lena Headey, Jeff Goldblum and Peter Dinklage. Hopefully what they left in is good. 

I’m still surprised Solo didn’t do better than that. It’s not a bad movie by any stretch, but probably works better if you just think of it as a heist film rather than origin story. Also pretty dumb that everything we know about Han Solo originated from his very first adventure.

People who complain about how things aren’t like they were in the comics baffle me. You KNOW those stories. If you want to re-experience them reread them. This is it’s own thing that uses the comics as a jumping off point.

That all occurred to me after I wrote my comment. But in all honesty, if I had the ability to leave this fucking place I would do so in a heartbeat.
