My problem with leases on EVs in general is the km restriction (putting aside this deal seems pretty good regardless). Correct me if I’m wrong but in order to get the best bang for your buck for a full EV you should be charging at home overnight when rates are cheaper but also driving the car a lot? I would think the…
Didn’t both the first season of Westworld and the first season of the Witcher have quite well known sneaky time jumps?
So long as the Tesla is now fighting the Russians this is a cool story.
I’m trying to remember both general vampire and Dracula specific lore. The creature looks cool but wasn’t dracula (at night anyhow) able to generally pass as human? This creature certainly wouldn’t. Would his victims turn into these creatures? Some of the newer vampire examples (like the Strain sort of) have…
The Mystery Machine! Although I see people have already created it in real life:
I loved Luca. Last summer we spent a week at my parents cottage. No internet or cable, only DVD player. We brought a lot of movies from the library including Luca. Our toddler (3 years old at the time), watched Luca so many times and loved it way more than any of the other more age-appropriate movies we brought. …
Wouldn’t the Dash-8 count? Or is this only jets and turbo-prop planes don’t count (even though they are with major airlines?) Wikipedia tells me there are over 800 flying still.
I got a Sharon, Lois and Bram notification for this?
I just want to say this was a great article. Also, my folks have ordered an Ioniq5 (delivery time unknown) and it was to replace about a 10 year old Honda CRV. And while they acknowledge storage space might be a bit less than their old CRV it will generally accomplish the same job (hauling stuff to and from their…
I like to think the 1% increase for Top Gun was because my wife and I finally got around to seeing it last Friday in the theatre.
What the hell is Epix?
Not as expensive as that X7 but I would say in the western part of the GTA (just besides Toronto), soccer moms have cornered the Land Rover / Range Rover purchases (as least based on how many I see picking up tots at my kids daycare).
I remember going on magnum-xl 2000 at Cedar Point when that was new (more than 20 years ago). While scary, it seemed smooth. Went back for the first time in 2019 and did it again and it was so jerky my whole body hurt after. Of course, that’s probably because I’m now 45 years old.
I know technically early 90s but I suggest:
Totally agree Klyph. I loved season one, but the weirdness and complexity crazily increases toward the end of the season. With peak TV (and a new baby), I have no time to re-watch season 1 so they better have an amazing re-cap!
