NO they should not be compensated. If advertisers are asking to have AD’s pulled from them because they are not what they want to be associated with.

If they are producing content advertisers do not want any associating with.... No they shouldn’t fucking get paid either. They can still follow their dream. They just can’t expect to follow their dream and be given a paycheck for no reason other than followers and views of said content.
