Just not a big fan of that type of paid DLC... I've played games that got ruined like that. Dota 2 does a great job making sure that paid stuff doesn't interfere with gameplay but Hero's of Newerth did not. It's cool that there will be additional characters and all but why not just release it for free as update…

Nope, you generally don't play against other people who don't own the expansion.

I get it but come on... be a bit of an advocate to the consumer too. DLC not only charges extra for something you bought but in some cases makes the came unfair for people who didn't pay. Either way if you find it acceptable it's on you, I don't think it's a good trend.

Just seems like something that should be an update. Why not make people feel like they get value out of their purchase not charge more for something that is already expensive... Adding paid DLC to something that isn't free to play just seems shady.

Yeah these "best X" articles are kind of a waste. Why is it the best? It is cheap and advertised a lot. Just like the SSD reviews... the Samsung drives turned out to be "the best" while it has a major flaw with them at the moment (don't believe I've heard it's been fixed).
