They did address the clothing thing obliquely though, when Abbie & Jenny got him to put on skinny jeans and a henley. It did not go well. I get where he's coming from though, if I could go the rest of my life in cutoff jean shorts, black leggings, flannel shirts, and Docs I would. That was my fashion / comfort

I would love them to be together in a Peel & Steed kind of way, were you always know they're probably having the shag but its never said in anything other than body language. My ideal "reveal" would be Jenny dropping in one morning and making herself coffee in the kitchen, and then one of them comes out of the

I doubt the writers have that much awareness, if they did they'd just be writing better episodes. I agree that it seems like its Nicole Beharie and not "Abbie" who appears to want to be anywhere other than where she is. I would LOVE for some anonymous person to write a tell-all about what went down behind the scenes

Caroline mistaking Ichabod for a really dedicated LARPer was an amazing piece of comedy, I loved it. She was kind of an odd character and her end was weirdly abrupt, but I'm glad they finally came up with a way for him to wear Colonial-era clothing and not be rank and disgusting.

But they've just replaced last season's dead weight with new dead weight (Betsy Ross, Zoe). I thought Irving was a good character — he and his family were caught up in the Moloch thing, and they just dropped that entire plotline on the floor. What ever became of poor Macy after her possession? Is she OK? How about

This episode and the Guillermo Navarro one were very good, I thought, although I miss the mythology arc from S1.

1) This was a super fun episode, and I'm glad they're tapping into some of the really rich history and stories of the Hudson River Valley populations
1a) VERY glad to see Grace Dixon back, but she was underused.
1b) I will pay money to see an episode entirely in flashback, dedicated to a Grace Dixon - Ben Franklin caper

Betsy's face showed up in Pandora's Pool of Evil in one of the first couple of episodes, too.

Oh I didn't put those two together! Amazing catch.

I was really hoping he'd punctuate that line by slapping Ollie on the ass as he walked past him.

Oh I wouldn't take it that far, I'm way too lazy for that. I just want to watch how people react.

I know, now *I* want to go do that just to see what would happen!

The low-ambition of it all is what makes it so brilliant and effective. Its boiling the frog slowly, as they say. The psychological demolition of the neighboring town is so subtle they won't even realize it, even after its too late.

Right? That's a hell of a way to start a Monday morning. The van-box thing is killing me, that's GENIUS!

This is a great interview for a lot of reasons, but partly because it just evoked the memory of my ex who has the biggest boy-crush on Maynard of any person I've ever known. He was an OK guy, even if he was a "sex addict" (read: poor impulse control) who was sleeping with at least 3 other women and dumped me by text

Hay baling almost certainly paid shit wages.

Enough jump scares to keep me screaming out loud in my living room, enough slapstick to keep it from being too scary for me to go to bed afterwards. 1/2 hour chunks of this will be just perfect. Looking forward to it!

Everyone was horrible on that show, though. The writing was horrific. Even halfway decent actors were horrible.

Thanks for tuning in!
