I know, I got through it and found myself wondering if I somehow missed the part that actually took a stab at telling me whether it was worth the ten bucks or not

Oh, and there’s a plug for the TV series. So not really a review but a long-form ad.

that’s not true there’s also some ancillary covid filler.

This review barely has any focus on the differences between game versions, which is kind of a waste since we can just read the general reviews from four years ago.

I’m gonna pay because I adore the game and the 10 buck upgrade is nice but if it was full price I’d avoid it like the plague bc it’s the same graphics esentially.

Wait, so this is just a small graphic update? I wonder how different Part II and Part II Remastered really look, because from the screenshots I don’t see a significant upgrade.

It is by the Divine Will of God that I was born rich. How can you not recognize your proper place in making sure to suffer so I stay rich?”

It is not sustainable for GameStop to operate a money losing business.

“Sure I’m worth billions but I’m not getting a paycheck, so when you suffer, know that I’m right there with you, eating off-brand caviar, drinking Johnny Walker Green instead of Blue, and suffering other privations.”

Delete this article for making us visualize Elon and his romantic partners.

This shitstain must NEVER EVER get anywhere near the White House.

Seriously. I’m in my mid thirties but this is the type of shit that makes me want to yell at kids to stay off my digital lawn

Uhh... I literally just booted the games on GBA, and the infantry soldiers fly away when “killed”. What are you talking about?

If you want a game where they did try to make advance wars into a gritty game that perhaps matches its subject matter “better”, try tracking down a copy of Advance Wars : Days of Ruin for the Nintendo DS, the last game to come out of the series before the remake.

It has its own post-apocalyptic war setting that is

This is such a braindead read on what is being said, my god.

Sisi: “The tone and aesthetics of the work run contrary to the subject matter, which creates a sense of disconnect for me.”
You: “Oh, so you LIKE violence in Thing X, but DON’T LIKE violence in Thing Y. I have great reading comprehension and critical thinking

I’m confused not by the content of the post but by Sisi’s wildly off-base expectations from a Switch remake of an E10 rated Game Boy Advance game for children. To clarify, I think it’s just kind of silly to expect anything more from this colorful cartoony war game than what’s on the tin.

So a cartoon battlefield is too much to handle.

I’ve been enjoying the game, having only played a little bit of the originals at the time, but I did find myself feeling the same way.

Are you serious with this? This is the take? Just...wow. There is only one response to a take like this:

I’m way more concerned about the commander-in-chief and his decades long pay to play/influence family business schemes with his coke snorting prostitute lovin son.”
