I hope you’re sweating grease, you pig of a POTUS

While I’m sure that his pillowy millions are going to be a soft cushion to land on until he dies at 90-something of coke-related causes, this shit strikes to the core of what American is and what we’ve become in late stage capitalism.

I don’t even say this lightly - I am beginning to wonder what the fixation with the bit is. It’s too directed, too intense to be just a passing fancy. There’s clearly thought put into it, and a great deal of time/effort placed into creating the persona/posts in order to confuse.

‘And here comes Madame Collins, stepping over dead children, molestation and rape victims, and the bodies of the poor so that she can cast her historic vote!’

Except it’s not.

I wouldn’t go all out on GOP, but I would definitely say they’re Neoliberals who would applaud a Biden presidency with zero changes to our country as it stands now.

Nice job supporting the GOP poster.

You must be a troll at this rate.

I am seeing your point. Your point is they’d never do that, and even if they did, folks would defend the Constitution.

Oh, absolutely. An advisor in my program once told me “getting your doctorate doesn’t mean you’re smart. It means you’re stubborn and have time to kill. There’s a lot of idiots in academia.”

Yeah, and I wish I hadn’t been a huge fan of your music when I was in the early stages of puberty - but we can’t have everything.

To paraphrase Mr. Carlin: “Think about the average person you know, and how dumb they sound sometimes. Then realize that half of all people are dumber than that.”

Don’t tell that to these folks. Constitutions and Amendments will save us! Or somesuch absolute bullshit.

I am sure the Germans, Italians, Russians, etc. all said the same thing when they were presented with the nearly exact same scenario.

I admire your naivete. All of this, all of our social structure, is based on a mutual agreement of following the Social Contract. There is nothing to prevent anyone from invalidating the SC, even less so if you’re powerful. If Trump, and the Senate (by their own voting) said ‘we’re suspending Habeus Corpus (like we

No, it’s spot on. He said, while still in office a few years later, something along the lines of “I still don’t know what I got the prize for.”

uhhh... I have news for you dude. There’s a lot in this current political climate that is just ‘supposed’ to happen because of parliamentary norms, unwritten rules, gentlemens’ agreements, etc.

Double layer of humor if you consider the history of Nobel himself and why the prize was made.
