The only gripe I have with the spiderco is that carbon dust builds up after a few uses or before you are finished sharpening if sharpening a large blade, like my chefs knife, and prevents blade contact with the ceramic stones. Stones are kind of a PITA in my opinion, use that kit correctly and you can shave with your knives, everything I carry can take hair off my skin easily.
