The notices concern a software update, which will “automatically shift the cars into park if the driver’s door opens while the engine is running,”

And everyone thought the smelloscope was a joke!!

Adding i in front of words doesn’t make you witty. Why are you so concerned with how other people spend their money?

I think the smartphone is being held in too high a regard. If a phone is left behind at a crime scene it should be viewed just like any other piece of evidence. If you left your wallet or briefcase, you don’t need a warrent to open those things. Your phone should fall into the same category. Same goes if you’re caught

Finding a criminal is not misusing 911.

Everything left at a crime scene can be processed as evidence. that’s like saying you have to distinguish between clothing fibers before you can process them.

“Torrents are for pirating” You’re woefully ignorant to how the internet works. Torrenting is merely file transfer via peer to peer. Stop conflating it with piracy.

The website is not illegal you scrub, it actually hosts ZERO pirated content.

Ok, I’m in!!

More like DAY1: Take Viagra and try to have sex with Melanie in Oval office.

Wha? This is an article about a potato cannon.. what’s with the Jesus stuff?

Because I’m the President of SONY!!! JK. Actually I don’t know why I’m getting so heated up.. I actually don’t care that much. Just got caught up in the debate.

That’s terrible, so no one is legally responsibility to say this person isn’t part of this company anymore??? So he can’t sue those defense lawyers either?

Holy shit.... you do realize he already lost a suit right? He was sued and lost. You did get that part right? He lost a court case in which he was named as part of TPB. The courts agreed.

He’s named as part of TPB, so they just decided, hey this guys not involved.. but let’s not say anything. If anything he should sue the defense lawyers for defamation. Then he might have a suit. Against the music companies that already won in court.. not so much.

Seriously, I never watch C-Span but now... bah.. no I still won’t watch it. But I’m sure this event has gotton other people interested in it.

It is explicitly something he did, he co-founded the website for the purpose of promoting piracy and making a profit. And apparently the courts didn’t believe he is no longer part of TPB, otherwise they wouldn’t have found TPB and him guilty and fined them all this money. One big reason he’s most likely still part of

He hasn’t been involved with the site for a decade

.... I had another long explanation but it’s obvious you don’t want to know anything. Ok you carry on and I’ll move on as well.

I completely get what all of you are saying, but you’re all missing a major point. He just lost a major lawsuit and now owes a lot of money to the music companies. That means the courts already agreed, he’s part of TPB and is responsible. It’s up to him at this point to prove he isn’t part of TPB and he doesn’t owe
