Yeah, those low-cost EEG devices are almost useless. Net-style EEG electrodes can be applied very quickly, with a high density of sensors, though, especially with short hair. Expensive, though.

People are working on it. There’s some research using EEG to do that, but it’s going to be a while.

If you’d read the article, you’d know that they are making a good faith attempt at obeying the law by hiring staff to move cars before they exceed the legal time limit.
