I have Spartan Ops on my Thinkpad 2 tablet. It's alright to play on the couch when my gf is watching 5 dvr'ed episodes of Modern Family back-to-back, but I wouldn't care to play on a TV. Peggle, though, would be great. The first was great.

They should think about giving out Crimson Dragon for free. With it's strange "pay" to play mission structure (not that you actually have to pay $ but that you need to save up for higher tier missions if you die too often), it seems like a good candidate. Powerstar Golf is another candidate, but that game might be…
I really liked XIII and didn't think it was a flop at all, but even a big fan of the XIII trilogy like me got very tired of it by the end of Lightning Returns.
I still play some PC games. Love me some Starcraft (even if I never get out of gold). And you may well be right about the video drivers. But maybe it's just me and my personal incompetence! I spent 20 minutes on Saturday trying to get my HP laser printer to sync with my girlfriend's macbook!
I don't think anyone is arguing that the consoles looks better than PCs. PCs are obviously more powerful. But some folks, including me, just can't be bothered to spend the money to buy a gaming PC or, in the alternative, spend the time to build a gaming PC. Even if my funds were unlimited, my time is limited, so I…
From watching the backer docs, it sounds like that the big time voice actors worked for peanuts. But I do agree with the overall view that Double Fine blew through their budget way too fast.

I have to think that it will look entirely different once they do the CGI effects. Sure, this image looks weak, but maybe it looks awesome after post-production?
Gearbox often talks about how their inspiration for BL was the "moment to moment" fun of Halo and the looting of Diablo. So it's interesting that you point to Diablo as a comparison. I agree that it is entirely different. A high stats gun that is no fun to shoot just isn't worth the trouble.
It's such a difficult balance for the Gearbox folks with Borderlands. I agree it is so frustrating to find an awesome gun (purple, orange) and the to see it get under-leveled so fast. Especially frustrating when trying to decide whether to buy the level cap increases.
I'd take Jo Noah and Hayward in a heartbeat. And Nene has had a nice productive career. And you can't just be looking at who was taken: you have to look at who was available with that pick. Instead of Kirk Snyder you could have had Josh Smith, Tony Allen, Kevin Martin, Anderson Varejao. Instead of Royce White, you…
Hollinger already discussed how this is wrong. That "break-even" point you referenced is in a part of the formula but then ends up being league-adjusted. I'm not saying PER is perfect but it is not useless. http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/…
I grew up in Korea and worked there after college. The culture is entirely different there. Young adults mostly live with their parents until they get married. Housing market is crazy, homes in Seoul tend toward modest sizes, even for moderately well off families.
To me, I am Legend (along with the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica) is a great example of how the enemy is far worse when not shown on screen and only imagined.
I loved my Xbox, but man, that thing was a brick...
Let me ask you, could you tell if the ships are class-specific or not?
Totally with you on the not buying PC games except digitally. Hell, I bought XCom for my 360 on Xbox Live and would have done that for EW if that were an option.
Hey man, I live in the D.C. area and I've been having a HELL of a time trying to find a store that has XCom: EW this week. I just gave up and ordered on Amazon today. (Btw: this isn't because Enemy Within sold so well, it's because for some reason Best Buy didn't stock any and the local Gamestops each got only one…
How is Nick Saban regarded by those around him on a regular basis, other than his wife and golf buddy? By the players and other coaches and such? How do others react to his "death stare" looks and his odd oatmeal cream pie diet and so forth. Thanks! Loved the story.
Man, I have been TRYING to like FS1. I normally watch about 20 minutes of Sportscenter before I go to bed almost every weeknight. For the past week, I substituted in FS1. It was horrible. I took all the dumb parts of Sportscenter and made them worse. Their "gimmick" during the college football segment was having…
