As I stated before, I wasn’t discounting you but simply saying I hadn’t heard this before and didn’t know how it would be applied regarding the EEOC.

Uhh, it doesn’t matter the sex of the person who wrote. I work in HR and Organizational Development. If she gets fired, they will be paying her back wages and damages. You have absolutely no clue what you are talking about.
So youre gonna play this hand now?
I agree with everything you said. Just one small thing... his “shit in the sink” is not a straw man fallacy. It’s a reductio ad absurdum fallacy.
There are several articles you can find on the subject of black women wearing head wraps and scarves and putting hair back in different ways and why this is done.
agreed. Seems I already put him back in his place though.
Just ignore this guy. He’s clearly got it out for this lady based on his other comments.
You wouldn’t have seen anyone wearing a headwrap in an office setting because up until about a decade or so ago, having relaxed or pressed hair was the default style for women with afro-textured hair in office and school settings. Anything else was deemed de facto unprofessional. A person who wore head scarves and…
Many women of color like myself keep our hair in ponytails because our hair doesn’t act the same way as your hair. If it rains, my hair turns into a frizzy mess, which undoubtedly would be deemed by people like you to be “unprofessional.”

...I’m drawing a blank. What exactly do you look like with a headband? Black? Thug? Rafael Nadal? Jack Sparrow?
You are part of the problem if you don’t understand the problem.
You’re most welcome. Your glowing feedback will ensure me a hefty raise.
We don’t have to read your post in detail to know you are an awful human being. Your first line made that clear.
Her boss’ problem isn’t with her clothes, it’s with her skin tone.
I’d much rather have my employees wearing what was in picture number 1 rather than some of the stuff I see people try to get away with in a real formal situation.
She looks really sharp in that first picture. I’m surprised that her boss had a problem with that.
You seem like a person who lacks empathy, and enjoys the suffering of others.
Unfortunately they can’t fire her for dress code violation. They detailed out the dress code and she’s following it. So unless she’s bad at her job not much of a leg to go on.
