Actually there is no federal protection for not being hired or being fired for one’s political beliefs. Being a Democrat or Republican doesn’t put you in a “protected class” like race, sex, national origin, or medical disability.

The right is perfectly okay when a business owner refuses, say, gay people, service based on his/her religious/moral/ethical beliefs. So now a business owner is refusing to serve Sarah Hucksterbee Slanders because of her moral beliefs…
