I’m guessing, if you asked, she’d run away very quickly, leaping over any obstacle in her way.

I actually completely forgot about these movies until I saw part one of movie 3 on the shelf at Target. I read the books and had seen the first two at the theater, but somehow the last one escaped me. I was like “oh yeah... that exists....” I didn’t even buy it.
I was really hopeful that the movie could fix the problems with the last book. But who’s bright idea was it to split it into two movies? That book was weak af and didn’t have enough material for two movies.
Miles Teller is the best part of these movies. His smirk of “Jesus, folks, can you believe how bad this is?” sustains me.
Yeah I hate these movies but Theo James can GET IT and he seems like a delightful person in interviews.
The third book was terrrrrible. I was so disappointed because I really enjoyed the first two.
I only read part of the third book and got really annoyed. I read the ending online and lost all desire to finish it and see the series.
I stopped reading after the first one. I still liked Four in the movie but it might be because I like the actor.
Right!? I could’ve helped these movie people by tellin them to avoid this franchise because the 3Rd book veers off into bonkers land and sucked.
I was okay with the first two films but the third went off the rails. I think it was when they killed Maggie Q and let Miles Teller live for the nth time. Also, I discovered I hated all of the young characters except for Four.
Ok. Please do not mistake this as support of any kind for Trump or RNC silliness. And I am a firm believer that women face sexism with attire every single day.
Federer lost in 5 at the semis against a guy who hits 140 mph first serves. I’d say there’s plenty of firepower left in a match against Serena, considering that Serena and Venus once lost sets in practice against a goofball of a professional male tennis player who was outside the top 150 at the time.
*If* Federer won? So that would be in doubt, in your opinion? That’s like asking yourself who would win a 100 m race between Florence-Griffith Joyner and Usain Bolt or a soccer match between the women’s WC champion and the men’s WC champion. It’s not sexism to claim that of course the men would win these events, it’s…
That wasn’t the ‘Battle of the Sexes’. That was the best female tennis player of her time playing against a guy in his mid-fifties who retired from tennis two decades ago at the time. The only real battle would be the women’s No 1 against her male counterpart. That would have been Jimmy Connors at the time, if I…
Practically speaking, I can absolutely see someone like Jesse Williams being racialized differently depending on the region, even by other Black people—particularly racialized as Latino, Caribbean, bi-racial, or Black. But the point stands that he reads unambiguously as a person of color.
The most hilarious part of all this is that it’s like these Grey’s Anatomy fans don’t even know who Shonda Rhimes is. Like is Shonda really gonna fire Jesse Williams for speaking out about social justice?? That’s about as likely as Donald Trump saying something intelligent. Ain’t gonna happen.
If the FDA would like to recommend a better way to eat my feelings I’d love to hear it.
The flour currently in my kitchen was purchased at least one move ago. Last time I moved was 2014, so my flour’s clean. Bring on the cookie dough!
Skirts are comfy when they are designed right. You’re basically wearing a very short, skin-tight short with a veiling skirt over the top. Clearly, you could just wear the short short, but many women do like the forgiving part of having the skirt on top. The skirts probably give a great deal more ease of movement than…
playing tennis in skirts/dresses is actually pretty comfortable (and cute!) i dont think most tennis players mind them. also it’s ~tradition~ so it will never change
