Making a sweeping generalization about white people's opinion on this is a huge stretch anyway. I was 5 when I had mine done - I have no idea if I actually consented or not.

I would imagine they get less infected when done as a baby because the mom is keeping them clean. Babies are probably cleaner than I was as a 5 year old when I got mine pierced.

You're right, but many people might not know that. They someone in scrubs and assume "nurse." My point still stands though.

Aren't there laws that say pharmacists don't have to fill prescriptions for BC or the morning after pill or anything else against their religion? But that they have to find someone else who will? I wonder if that idea could be used in this case - she shouldn't have to write an RX, but has to get a different nurse or

Well that's a really shitty thing to say. "Nurses are just people too stupid to be doctors." That's crap. And, there are different levels of nurses. CNA, RN, NP, etc that all require different levels of training.

I just want to say that I was at a bar the other night with a friend and got very drunk and when I went to sign the credit slip I'm pretty sure I did nothing more than scribble a signature and push the slip away. I can't remember if I left a tip or not, which is something I've NEVER done before and I'm very sorry if I

My credit cards are all 18-20% I think. Not that it matters, I don't carry a balance.

I will have to try that!

I know this, but I find that the clothes look the best before I wash them :(

I haven't worked at a supermarket in about 8 years now, so that wouldn't surprise me.

I don't know if WIC has gone electronic, but they were paper check looking things when I worked at a supermarket. You would definitely notice them if you were in line because you had to do a separate order for each WIC check, and make sure that the items in the order exactly matched what the voucher said (1 gallon of

It was only 5 years old in 2008 when this story took place. Now she's a stay at home mom and mommy blogger. I think they're doing fine.

This is WIC, not food stamps. They're not even the same thing, the title just sounds better when she says "food stamps".

Well this was in 2008, so it was only 5 years old at the time.

Some of the reasoning in that post too was that it was a low end Mercedes that doesn't have much demand for resale, especially in 2008. She probably not have gotten the $15K those commenters like to think. It's a 5-year old luxury car, the value drops off immediately.

Oddly enough, Banana is one of the only places I can buy pants. The 00 there fit me. They don't at Loft or JCrew

Denim is like that in a lot of places. I have a hell of a time buying pants, but whenever I buy a pair of 24" jeans it almost always fits perfect.

Same here. I don't remember having a hard time buying pants in high school. I know I had a size 2 or something from American Eagle and now I'm a 00 (I like their jeans!). Can't buy pants at JCrew, fortunately I fit in the 00 at Banana. I haven't tried to buy pants at Loft, but I don't think I fit in their 00P either.

Are their 00 really for a 24in waist? Their pants are huge, I can't fit into even their 00.

My dad loves it. He loves their stripes program and all the free appetizers and rewards he gets from it.

It's fine if I'm in the mood for bar food. That's how I feel about a lot of these chain restaurants.
