It's not entirely political. I've been a cheerleader my whole life - rec, high school, college, all-star, etc. I'm quite familiar with the court case where it was declared that it didn't count for Title IX purposes. And I don't disagree with it. There needs to be more organization and regulation in college cheer. We

And international level 6, thank-you-very-much ;) I was there.

You're not cheering for anyone. It's a sport that has evolved and the name doesn't really match it anymore. But why should we have to change the name?

There's a whole push to rename it. The stigma and lack of organization in competitive cheer in college is preventing it from being recognized by the NCAA for Title IX purposes.

There's this whole side of cheerleading called all-star cheerleading and they don't stand on any sidelines. There are no cheers, just competing. They practice and compete routines against other cheerleaders, never once stepping foot on a sideline. Most schools compete as well. I was a cheerleader and football games

That has nothing to do with the scoring actually. But nice try.

You're an idiot. This isn't any different than most other sports and it's only important for regulation in schools. Construction jobs are not a sport in school.

Plus, what people fail to mention with this is that, depending on your income, your payment might be so low that your loan is actually growing each month. Sure, in 20 years you can discharge them, but then the amount discharge gets counted as income and you have to pay taxes on it. $100K in loans left will come with a

It cost me almost $20K/year to go to my state school, in-state not even out of state. Still cheaper than private, but not cheap.

This isn't new though is it. It's the geo fence thing. I used to get notifications from the starbucks app when I was near some of my favorite locations. But then I turned it off because it never went away when I was at work. They just changed how it looked.

Whoops, I knew it was the Pacific Northwest, but I thought it was the US version of a Canadian show. My bad!

Love quartz! We have granite in our place now, but I would totally get quartz if it was up to me! So sparkly!

I just don't get it. Like, do these people never peruse zillow? When we were house hutning for our first home, we pretty much sent links to our agent before she could suggest them. I knew exactly what we could afford and where.

My fiance has a man crush on Scott. And so do I do. I was so sad when I realized he was wearing a wedding ring. He's just so nice!

Every time there's one of these home improvement shoes and someone wants to knock down a wall, you just KNOW it's going to be load bearing.

My fiance HATES Love it or List It Too. He says at lease Hilary and David are halfway decent actors. The Americans are just terrible.

We got Lender-paid PMI. We take a slightly higher interest rate (.125%) but no monthly PMI. It ends up being like $20 more per month. But we have no intention of staying in our place for more than like 7 years, so we'll save a lot of money by not paying the traditional PMI.

Atlanta makes me cry. "I have a budget of $60K." Lolwut, I don't even think I could buy a plot of land for that and you just bought a beautiful brand new condo.

We put 10% down. Went through a regional bank.

We just put down 10% for our place. No FHA loan or anything. Plenty of lenders will let you do it, you just usually have to pay Private Mortgage Insurance until you have 20% equity.
