Normally I would say that stupidity or ignorance of the law is not a lawful defense, but then again, we did get a lawyer that successfully used the “Affluenza” defense.

Looking at the body language, it does look like Trump is subservient. Look at the way he shook hands. Trump extended his hand with the palm up so Putin can clasp his hand over Trump’s. It’s a submissive act.
