I'm not sure if that qualifies as "stretching." Usually that term implies scaling to a larger resolution. These are playing on the exact same resolution, just on a larger screen. It's like buying a bigger TV.
I wasn't planning on picking this one up, given that I do like the original portable size, but... it's looking harder and harder to resist.
But... now you can watch all the Let's Play! videos you want!
This Apple user was clever enough to infer the article to which you intended to link, had you understood URLs a bit better. ; )
Agreed. The right clothes (or lingerie, ultimately) can be infinitely sexier than bare nudity, even if her body is perfect underneath.
You can't separate the box from the peripherals. The Wii U console, for instance, contains a very specific implementation of local communications optimized for streaming lag-free to the Gamepad (which is why Smartglass can't pull off the same without significant delay). The Wii was likewise built for communication…
They had some loss at the end of the console cycle, but it pales in comparison to the profits for the generation as a whole. The other companies are currently seeing either losses or just the slimmest margins of profit after losing money heavily year after year from launch. So again, Nintendo was by far the most commer…

I see where you're coming from, but I don't like the idea of Nintendo making software. That's the other part of being a toy company: it's all about the physical items, the novelties, the unique hardware. Now, peripherals might be able to accomplish some of that, but I still see the magic being lost.
Quite right. Once you pass the HD threshold, the differences become much less noticeable to the average consumer, particularly when you have art design like that of Nintendo's first-party games. This generation, it was obvious that the Wii looked a bit dated graphically when compared to the competition, but with the…
The article is well written and reasonable. There's little doubt left that the Wii U will be similarly positioned to its next-gen brethren as the Wii was to its contemporaries.
A fat stylus is like one on the iPad, where you must draw with broader gestures and strokes because it cannot detect tiny angles and pixel-to-pixel details. Again, I've tried to take notes on my iPad and given up because I have to write enormous letters in order for them to register the details. I can write…
