I had a friend spoil the twist but I tend to agree with people who say the trailer gives away way too much. Like I said I really enjoyed it and think it's a very well made, well acted movie I just don't see how it's SO universally acclaimed. I wish I had gone into it with no previous knowledge at all.

I watched Get Out last night and while I enjoyed it and thought it was very good, 99% on Rotten Tomatoes with literally the only bad review coming from Armond White had my expectations a lot higher.

I like Vicious Lies and appreciate what he was trying to do on it. Boomiverse is just a really generic rap album outside of like 3 or 4 tracks.

No? I mean they showed the creation of BOB and ostensibly Laura Palmer last night but the fact that it was that iconic photo that we all associate with the town of Twin Peaks is open to interpretation. I'd say a lot of what we saw last night is open to interpretation at this point.

So on Reddit last night someone mentioned that their theory isn't just that The Giant brought Laura Palmer into the world but brought all of what we know of Twin Peaks since we saw that iconic photo that's been representative of the whole show and everything in the town. I just thought that was an interesting take.

Childish Gambino does not have a better body of work than Kanye, that's insane. If you liked Kanye up until Graduation you should revisit 808's and especially My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. I'm not huge on Yeezus and I think TLOP is a mess but those other two are absolute classics IMO.

I'm WAY late to the party her but her singing the song while…dead eyed, drugged up and engaging in her career in porn was one of the most devastating things I've ever seen or heard. It made Jennifer Connelly's arc in Requiem for a Dream seem tame.
