You mean calling for help on behalf of your minor kid is an act of extraordinary perfection and courage? I’m disappointed in your standards.

NO. No she is NOT. I’m pissed off now, sorry. The daughter is a victim. The mother is a witness, and a mother of a victim, and she does nothing. That’s gross negligence as far as I’m concerned, truly inexcusable.
The mother is also a victim? WOW.
That’s a tolerable answer, but it’s depressing that an adult would think that way when their kid is in real danger. I’m not a troll. I’m a defensive parent. I don’t understand such failures on the part of parents.
What you’re saying is - take no action under the circumstances. You fear for your teenage daughter’s life, you see bruises, you don’t take pictures, and you do nothing. I think this is a huge failure on the mother’s part.
I understand that this was happening in the daughter’s mind. I don’t understand why the mother didn’t take action.
So he instilled that fear in the daughter. Why did the mother not take action, that was my question. The mother would have, presumably, known better.
I want to ask her: why didn’t you call 911? Why didn’t you take a picture of the bruises and call the police?
Seriously, she is a stunning beauty, she is a true amazon, she is off the charts.
You’re not too familiar with Calvinism. Always in doubt that they are elected, people seek “signs” of election - wealth in particular. In order to obtain it, they put in a lot of effort and pull themselves by their own bootstraps, because success in life retroactively proves to them they are elect.
Makeover opinion (so important): she’s look so much more interesting in a darker blond / light brown. Wrong? Could I possibly be wrong?
Religion (Protestantism in general, Calvinism in particular) installed the “pull yourself by your own bootstraps” software in the brains of the earliest American generations. It’s lead to some good, as well as all the crap we see.
Great point I hadn't seen stressed before.
Religion. We have too much religion.
Yes, because it actualizes the woman’s primary function: reproduction. The highest duty and role of women is to give birth, haven’t we been making that clear for centuries?
I too hope it’s a one off. I can’t imagine the market for irony being a priority here. People need larger, fashionable clothes. They don’t need to be a walking commentary on body politics.
I read his site, pal. It's all I needed to know.
Ha, that actually sounds hilarious. Congratulations on the baby (and the older kids, of course)!
I had, and I had because I had looked at his site after Joemygod tweeted about it several hours ago. It added a data point to my observations.
would you take a look at his web site? It’s obvious he’s a “they.” But thanks for the condescending tolerance lesson.
