My mother died from progressive MS after decades of severe disability. The treatments are better now and she has access to them. I wish the best for her.

As a writer myself I’m always a little baffled by his attitude. It’s like way back in the 90s or whenever he got started on this whole thing he thought, “Hey I’ll write a little book with a plot so twisted and tangled no one could possibly foresee the ending” and ended up including himself in the category. Never

I suspect he’s tired and burned out and just plain done. He may never get around to it.

We’re all going on with our lives. 99% of us aren’t going to lose sleep over this. Really we’re just writing these comments while riding a subway and/or taking a shit.

If you actually read the article it quickly becomes clear that “political correctness” has become a meaningless term that everyone projects their own beliefs unto. This is like saying, “We asked Americans how they feel about bad things that totally suck, and 98% said they don’t like them!”

I think this paragraph in that Atlantic article is really telling:

Wouldn’t a person tired of “politically correct” behavior approve of calling a fucking asshole “a fucking asshole”?

Or is it because James Bond himself was conceived in a time when a big chunk of society also thought this way...?

UK: No backsies!

It was delivered perfectly for the sort of people who think “pussywhipped” is an appropriate thing to say to a man buying Tampax.

If that was a joke, then I think he needs to work on his delivery.

This is not how Piers Morgan works

can’t we box up Piers Morgan in a crate and send him back to the UK via DHL?  Preferably with a note to Parliament to stop sending their trash over here?

I suggest you check out Elite on Netflix, my friend.

I have seen some reviews that do compliment the show’s writing, but did note that the dialogue may be a little too heavy-handed here and there. So sounds like it’s pretty...acceptable at the least.

- is the casting of the main roles as bad as those on Riverdale?

Generally some of the worst and laziest portrayals I’ve seen for queer men come from shows that have queer male showrunners.

whatever keeps you from suicide, I guess

Well he’s one of only two male ‘teen’ regulars so hopefully the reduced cast size will allow for more focus on individual stories.

Bummed as hell about silent Salem, but hot damn am I ready for back-to-back Daredevil S3 and Sabrina weekends. Thanks for dropping them right in the middle of midterms season, Netflix!
