Bart driving will never not be funny. I love that it could have been a throwaway gag, but they kept it. In this and many other Simpsons episodes, Bart can drive. Does a good job of it. They never play it as the horrific, chaotic event it should be. It’s just Bart driving somewhere, just like anyone else.

My favorite Homer gag in that episode is him deliberately pouring the soda on the console at the power plant and giving Lisa the ok sign as the guy on the other end of the phone line has one of the all-time great freakouts.

I don’t know why this show isn’t more popular, it’s a really well made sitcom and its second season only improved upon its format, allowing it to weave in and out of some fairly important issues.

But more episode of the Ranch? Guys, god dammit.
