is there good reason to believe that there was a Good Leland in the lodge throughout the TV series? that might shed some light on the theory

shows are also reviewed on early episodes (not the full season); the first 3 episodes here show more promise than S1's start, I figure. the problems most people seem to have with S3 are more about it not ramping up to such a fever pitch like the other 2 seasons

yeah AVclub has made that comment in a couple articles now, and there is a time to critique under-humanized housewife characters, but in this instance, WHAT ELSE COULD SHE POSSIBLY BE DOING? the premise of all her scenes in that she's pretty much the only one talking, and most of her lines are explicit imperative

oh, is it? i thought you misread him; i didn't know that was a thing.

yeah, but the way he's phrased it, the listening to of Strauss and Wagner would now imply that you are a Nazi.

The Hideo Kojima reference in that book blew my mind, that he'd even be aware of Metal Gear Solid.

What's the joke?

Is that the truth? It's not a lesson I've learned in my life, but I'm always looking to learn new things. (???)

I mean, Tim Schafer doesn't design all double fine games, though.

Especially for this show, that was an extremely conspicuous namedrop.

I think 999 has the single best plot twist of any game I've ever encountered. This article actually directly references that twist (arguably spoils it but whatever it's a really old game at this point).

but what atrocities are on their twitters!?

Learn to scout-rush! Totally breaks the game, but Alicia with boosters is beyond useful. She also doesn't die, she just retires, and you can send her out again.
