This is clearly just a horse_ebooks parody account. Maybe the Simpsons writers have been horse_ebooks parody accounts THIS WHOLE TIME!!!

I think the story is that they were told about the cancellation and the wrap up movie simultaneously.

Oh it was absolutely cancelled because its primary target demographic (Gay men) seemed to go out of their way to badmouth it and unfairly criticize it to a degree that they never would a show about heterosexuals (i.e. all other tv shows). Most of the critiques were actually provably false - like you could point to the

I liked it a lot despite the fact that it felt like an entire season condensed into three episodes. The rushed emotional moments made me wish we got the whole season but I felt like they did the best possible job being concise and I love these characters and this world so much that I was just happy to get to say

I think once you have the characterization down, creating scenarios and behavior that seems eerily prescient is inevitable, though the timing is beautifully coincidental you're right.

That part when Gavin was nostalgic for an era when captains of industry could crush those critical of them was funny and made me think of Peter Thiel's vindictiveness toward Gawker and how good this show is at nailing the deeply antisocial mentality of some of these guys. Infantile, billion-dollar sociopaths rule the

LOL - it's funny, I always tell people with terrible taste to watch NCIS too :)

This show manages to be amusing and painful at the same time. It's great.

I mean, maybe give the show a bit of poetic license re:historical accuracy considering its plot-lines involve witches, vampires, werewolves, the undead, and a native-american with shamanistic dream magic.

Wow - between Eva Green's intensity and Rory Kinnear playing Satan, Dracula and an angelic orderly, sometimes all in the same scene… Great episode.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH!!!!!!!!

At least HBO is consistent. They give shows two seasons to find a wide audience and if the show doesn't, it's cut. Looking suffered the same fate (though in my opinion Looking didn't deserve to be cut - Togetherness being axed isn't surprising at all).

Yes! She's really talented. I heard her mom can act too or something.

LOL - that X-Files description: "“Founder’s Mutation” has everything!" - I thought you were going to segue into a Stefon from SNL list that included a reference to "human-alien hybrids" described as "It's that thing where a drunk midget wears an E.T. mask and keeps trying to borrow your cell to phone home."

I like that he chooses Renoir as his clown name since Renoir is one of the worst, most cloying painters embedded in the art historical canon - he's seriously the Nickelback of French Impressionism.

Haha - Belle & Sebastian - This Is Just A Modern Rock Song in the background while they make out.

My favorite is still Don Hertzfeldt's couch gag:

You win a gold plated Pitchfork. There's a chip inside it and a button you can push to play music (but only Xiu Xiu songs).
