The Root calls out racism. This notion that black people calling out examples of white racism is itself racism it’s like four year-olds in a playground going “but what are you?” It’s stupid, childish and factually incorrect.

I can’t tell if this was written using the style sheet from The Root or The Onion.

You know what? I like this Jim guy. I was expecting an article showing maybe one or two driveable cars and a field full of trash but they all seem well cared for.  He seems like a stand up guy who knows what he likes, then pursues it.  Be like Jim.

Colson Whitehead’s damn good.

Coulson Whitehead’s Zone One had it both ways - zombies are all over the city still doing their ordinary tasks, or trying to do them. There are office buildings full of people who kept going to work even though they’d become zombies.

I was intrigued by the suggestion that capitalism may have turned us all into zombies. I’d like to see that elaborated upon.

It’s pretty subtle about it. Better set the sequel in a mall so we can understand better.
