Did you like Generation 3? I thought they were more like Generation 1, with some fantastic plot-lines but for the most part, I thought they were a really believable and delightful bunch. I didn't watch the 4th series, and I guess when I think about it, I like all of the generations for different reasons, and can't

All of the generations of Skins are illogical and inconsistent—it's a trashy soap opera masquerading as hard-hitting drama. Your complaint could be levied against any of the series, so I'm not sure why you'd single out series 2 (unless the ending bothered bothered you, which it clearly did, and that's fair). I enjoyed

I feel the same way. I was a toddler, but holy shit, I can't believe how hideous all of these dresses are. And as someone with a big bust, a high waist and a soft, beer-gut of a belly, it's amazing how pretty much all of these items would look absolutely hideous on me.

Well, you might try suffering through "Sliding Doors" even though you will hate Paltrow. He is like, beyond charismatic and adorable in that movie. It's kind of out of control. And he's so young and fresh-faced and just...yeah.

I don't look like that now, and I'm 26. *curses swimsuit season* **gives up**

I mean, whatever. We like what we like, often inexplicably. :) John Hannah is a personal favorite and he's adorable in "Sliding Doors," so there's at least that. If you hate him, then you MUST be a sociopath! He even makes those shitty Mummy movies watchable.

I think that in addition to the trolling the ending was just...ridiculous. Like, campy, cheesy, over-the-top ridiculous.

You know, I enjoyed it, but I found it pretty "fluffy" and thought that yeah, in the end it's a story about two really obnoxious people, one of which is a verifiable sociopath, and for what? I think Flynn is an okay writer, but I didn't get why it was so critically lauded, when it read to me like a quick, enjoyable

Completely agree. She is just not the right kind of actress, I think. I would go with Theron over her, but I love the idea of Paltrow.

She is a really charming actress—see loads of her 90s work, especially "Sliding Doors."

As a woman, I hate the term "slut" and refuse to use it or reclaim it. I also think it's silly characterizing people's sexual exploits based on a pejorative that has a lot of unpleasant history attached to it, and think people shouldn't worry about what consensual sex acts others get up to. Keep your freak flag

Completely agree with the first part, though I'm not familiar with those artists and will have to do some YouTubing!

Craig Ferguson is a national treasure. I find him hilarious and delightful, and so earnest and real in ways other late night personalities just aren't. And I loved his film "Saving Grace"—I've been a huge fan since I saw that.

Hannibal Buress??

Oh, you should definitely check it out, then! He's in quite a bit of it. It's also a realllly fucked up show, so there's that draw.

They've also successfully jacked this thread and made it all about them. Sigh/eyeroll.

Because wine/beer/cocktails taste delicious, and some of us like to drink because we like to consume stuff?

Yeah...I don't know about her. Cassie was torturous to me and it seems like she's playing the same character. :-\

Yeah, but after days of playing Skyrim, it all starts to bleed together. There's only so many caves and Dwarven ruins to explore, only so many Dragon Claws you can collect and carefully place in your various homes.

I loooove that Chris from season 1 is in Game of Thrones, and glad they've had him stick around longer than his character does in the books just because he is to my mind a delightful screen presence.
