I was left wondering, but I'm still unsure. I think if he is we should expect the SU crew to answer this soon.

Oh, I like seeing Amethyst interacting with human characters in the show, seeing her and Vidalia being old friends was such a interesting thing. She probably would give some advice about her relationship. Garnet who seems to be the one in the healthiest relationship in the show could give some great advice too

I wonder if she wouldn't try to change Greg too, he is very passive, and seems to be a "yes" kinda dude. Then again he is also very secure in his own identity, so maybe not.

Oh, I see, well I think her friendship with Steven is great, but it would be nice if she had more friends of her age too

Well, I agree. I think they probably would pair better with her than Lars, though.

I wonder if it was on purpose by the SU crew or if it's just a coincidence. This episode gave some glimpses on Lars, but even then, it was very little. This show likes it's slow burns.

That's the first time I've seen someone suggesting that, I…don't hate it? It makes me curious to see how it would work out.

I want more Sadie centered episodes that do not involve Lars, that would be nice. Poor girl seems to suffer a lot…maybe she starts hanging out with the Cool Kids? They seem like the sort of people that would call Lars shit out and be nice to her, give the character some other emotional support, some friends.

The whole boundaries thing is so true, and it has been a flaw that we have seen repeatedly in Steven, sometimes addressed in the episodes, other times not. It comes to my mind "Sadie's Song" where this was dealt in text by the end of the episode and "Barn Mates" where I thought the show did a poor job at showing that

It's a popular fandom headcanon actually.

I thought it was for a second…but then I checked, Laramie is a gender neutral name, apparently.

I feel that what you and other readers describe and seem to be looking for is a recap, not a review? I also do not see how is the reviewer problem if the show keeps hitting the same narrative mistakes in it's portrayal and treatment of the only black character in a significant role in this season? It might make some

I don't even know what you mean, since an analysis of Wilkes and Ana Jarvis representation in these episodes does count very much like a review of the show content. All that I hear in this comment section is "oh no, this review is making us uncomfortable to think about narrative flaws that we would rather not".

I interpreted it as more fulfilling to her as a scientist and someone that was denied to be anything but just a pretty face in her plans ans schemes. She basically stopped playing games and being nice and is taking lead of the whole thing without pretending in front of her husband.

Great review Oliver Sava, I appreciate that you brought the issue of race right at the start because I share the same concerns. Don't mind the others here who seem a little bit too uncomfortable to be reminded of that.
