At least cosmetic surgery can make a person look better. Nothing you do will ever make you less stupid. :D
Yeah, you were just strait up wrong dude, it’s okay to admit it. ;)
“Happy people ooze kindness, unhappy people ooze meanness.”
Your question: “Where are comments that say that looks don’t make a difference?”
This isn’t even a “Great Job Internet.” This story is from New York Magazine, a printed publication. :P
I’m pretty sure in the article LegendOfBrickTamland is pretty clear that he does, in fact, get treated better after his cosmetic surgery even though he has the same shitty personality so how does that jive with some of your comments about how it doesn’t make a difference what these fucking assholes look like?
People tend to forget that a large component of toxic masculinity is toxicity men aim at other men rather than just the very real toxicity that men aim at women.
As I’ve aged into the body of a middle-aged man, most of the negative feedback I’ve gotten about my body has come from men in their early twenties calling me…
I’m a happily married 40-year-old, chubby, mostly-bald, dad and I can definitely confirm that there’s a lot of body-shaming aimed at men. I’ve had 20-something male co-workers call me “fatty,” for instance.

It’s wiser to just avoid them.
I can’t see the word gazebo without thinking of this Kids in the Hall sketch:
The weirdest part of Marijuana legalization was gradually losing touch with my weed dealers.
i’m starting to think my candy company name idea might not catch on as well as I was hoping it would, “My Candy Tastes Like Ass, but At Least its Different Than the Delicious Candy You Already Like”
:(
I definitely disagree with the idea that most analysis of movies isn’t subjective. In general, people who are analyzing movies seem to be breaking them down into their components in order to re-enforce their opinion rather than weigh the merits of a movie from a logical, technical point of view.
Maybe I’d agree with…
That was the point in the review where it became clear to me that Katie Rife and myself have totally different world views.
I remember some kid in the 90's telling me that they chose the name Raptors because the first Velociraptor skeleton was discovered near Toronto. This is something I’ve believed to be the truth for 25 years.
This honestly sounds like more fun and interesting to me than any music festival I’ve been to since the random Ukrainian folk music festival I went to a couple years ago.
