Matching the DNA gathered at the crash site might take more time if known samples aren’t available. Investigators may have to gather DNA from immediate family members to use for comparison. The logistics of gathering the DNA from family members might be the challenge.

Ugh...my first thought on why they still haven’t released an update on any injuries or deaths is because everyone on board was burned beyond recognition and they’re using DNA to ID everyone. I hope I’m wrong.
