On a whim I decided to pick up Yakuza 0 yesterday, and, well, that’s what I’m playing this weekend. I’ve only gotten through Chapter 1, but there’s something about this game that’s appealing. The controls are slick, the plot and voice acting are nicely soap-opera, and I’m liking the environment.

I love that Bewear is clearly a costumed mascot, and nobody cares.

When they first revealed Zoroark, they only showed its silhouette, and I was holding out hope that it was a Smeargle evolution.

I couldn’t link shapes together that weren’t physically touching, but you can have each shape follow its own rail at the same rate, and it’ll functionally work the same.

I unironically love all the Super Crown stuff - a lot of them are super-creative takes on Mario enemies that don’t often get a lot of love. I’ve seen Bullette, Shy Gal, Koopa Troopette, and a bunch others.

I personally cannot understand why anyone would voluntarily choose to go to Popeye’s if Bojangles is an option. The difference is night and day.

God help you if you’re LGBTQ in a community that is less than accepting, too. I’m trans and a teacher, and if I didn’t have a principal who was fully committed to backing me up, it’d only take one angry parent to put me out of a job.
