How much more evidence do we need to see that EVs aren’t ready for prime time, consumers don’t want them, and everyone should cool it with the ‘imminent and inevitable’ talk?

Being a Texan is like what Michael says in the god father, “Never go against the family”. Therefore, I see nothing wrong with this truck, god bless texas, every other state can suck my butt.
Nothing distracts you like an infant in the back seat. But it will never be culturally acceptable to ban those....
“Make phone use a 3 strikes your out policy. Three infractions, loss of license for 10 years.”
“culture of corruption among senior leadership.”
Neutral: I think most of cell phone usage problems are not really cell phone problems but stupid human problems.
Neutral: They can’t even get license plate readers right for red light cameras and they want to use AI to *deduce* cell phone use. Fuck that.
3rd Gear: This will be a slippery slope
lol my 96 f250 has two 16 gallon tanks. I am surprised an f150 is larger
Neutral: I really don’t want a full electric vehicle. I feel the Voltec platform was the next step in evolution (unfortunately not in a vehicle that excited the masses) and would like something like that in a pickup truck that can haul 1,000 lbs and tow 7,000 lbs.
Those truck pull stunts are always bullshit. The heaviest truck almost always wins. It’s a traction game. No one is surprised an EV truck is heavier than an F-150 and no one is surprised an AWD truck beat out another truck in 2WD mode.
The problem is the alternative. If you are going to censor speech, then who gets to be the censor?
Sure reddit has bad places, but they’re easily avoided.
Ah yes. Censorship is the answer!
Yeah, but sometimes Twitter IS r/T_D. At least I would have to consciously venture over to that subreddit to view that cesspool.
Please make this stop:
Your logic is messed up. It is entirely based on the fact that, since in a same-for-same collision, trucks are more dangerous than the type of car you drive, trucks shouldn’t be driven as as often. Well, some people entirely commute by bike, and they are much less dangers than whatever you drive, so does that mean you…
Or a pickup truck with an empty bed.
Neutral: America will only be ready when electric cars can roadtrip or lifestyles change dramatically. Charge times are still too long and range is perceived to be too short for the 2-3 times a year families travel for holidays.
Nah, but when I state my reasons some people commonly retort “Conspiracy theorist,” or “THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!!!”
