Make sure you go get your trophy for when you finish in last place in your co-Ed flag football team in the fall. Everyone is a winner regardless of the results of their efforts. There are no losers in life just winners.

Trying something and getting the same result year after year for let's see.....over a 100 years would be considered stupid. So enjoy the next 100 years of the same results. You can still return your US soccer jersey you bought last week. Hopefully you saved your receipt
Us soccer has played 11 matches in World cups since 2003. They have 2 wins.
Personally I think the delivery is all wrong here. When it's dragged out it sounds awkward. It's gotta be quick and precise like the original. Either way...I'm still a huge fan of the trend.
Is this a trend? Should I be saying this more often, so that I look cool and hip? I'm going to scream it on the bus ride home as an experiment.
Nadal losing + Fed having a great chance at reaching the finals + USA losing= perfect sports day
These games always show just how far we are from being a Belgium or Germany. Still no idea of what to do offensively, often bad fundamentals like an inability to bring down the first touch, and a defense plan largely based on running as hard as possible to stop anybody. The team still gets by on great goaltending…
One can certainly hope that rather than simply forget about soccer/football (compromise? compromise) for four more years, more people in the US will get interested in the sport, and perhaps decide to play it over other sports. Maybe, just maybe, could the increased interest in this World Cup signal a revolution in US…
so maybe he's a really sad bandwagoner?
When all's said and done....we get to live in the U.S. We win.
We're ready for American football already.
This bitchy defense of a boring sport is short man syndrome like. It's cute
Personally, I'm glad the US lost. Deadspin's annoying circle jerk coverage has been buzz-feed like, and made me pretty damn happy to see them outplayed so badly and eventually lose. Now soccer can go away for another 4 years.
Deadspin must be thrilled the black goalie is the hero and the long haired white dude is the loser.
Nah
The U.S. is out of the World Cup, but Tim Howard's legendary performance will be remembered for decades.
Noone will care in 3 days time
Thank god this soccer bullshit is over
