Maybe this is a product of being born in the early 90s and not being around for these cars, but I truly cannot tell any 80s FWD GM cars apart. They all look exactly like this one to me.
By the way, that large antenna on the decklid was a sight for sore eyes.
I worked at a Dodge/Chrysler-Plymouth dealership in 1981-82 and drove a bunch of these (and their Plymouth Sapporo twin). For the time, they were decent drivers, especially with a five-speed.

I came here to say the same thing. Hatchbacks are more ubiquitous than ever in the US. They are larger and just go by a different name now.

I can see where you would want to include Ioniq 5 and EV6 but the wheelbase is wayyy longer than the rest of the group. And it would be very weird not to include the Mustang Mach-E as well because it’s virtually identical to the Korean EVs in almost every dimension.
