I was once told by a friend that a Miata motor swap would take less than two hours. I was skeptical, until I saw it done. Used a bobcat and an impact. However, it was less of an engine swap and more of a body/subframe swap. But still, it can be done! Just not... elegantly.

I grew up in the same county as this. Calfkiller river is named after a Cherokee chief. Which you can also find if you... well... Google.

You’d think with a jeep, aftermarket interior switches and accessories is to be expected. Switches for winches, lights, lockers, etc. Even overlanding things like portable fridges in the back. Maybe there’s a market for uprating vehicle electrical systems...

They bought it non-functioning? I need more story, this is intriguing.

Maybe before it gets too cold.

As much as I want to hate this, it is correct. This is another inexpensive RWD Coupe.

My Fiesta ST has been an absolute dream. And I think most of that has to do with the powertrain and the fact that I recognize it for what it is, an overpowered lunchbox. I do not mind the squeaks and rattles as they come, and I also have just enough power to get out of my own way. Also if you drive around with the

Edit: I didn’t scroll far enough, I wrote almost the same thing as GTO62. Bright minds and all that...

This is something I don’t think a lot of people discuss. At least with older cars that all had their own quirks, a manual F150 pickup truck does not translate smoothly to an MR2. It’s a bit different of an experience.

Jason you are a national treasure.

If I owned no cars, I would be unemployed and broke. Living in the south, there is no provision zero-car-owners. The infrastructure is not there to support public transit on anything more than a city-limit scale. So much is done rurally that you have to drive to.

Having just bought a truck instead of the Bronco I had on order… this picture makes me feel like it wasn’t that bad of a decision after all.

So instead of driving myself and being responsible for my own actions, I should let a vehicle with a 10% chance of error, possibly leading to the death of another or myself? Who is to blame? With human drivers, deaths occur because of human error. With autonomous driving, deaths will occur because of human error. As
