I don't think that the shows you mentioned are the kind of "anthology" shows that the reviewer meant - I'm assuming it's the old fashioned stand-alone tradition that they're referring to… stuff like 'Tale of the Unexpected', 'The Twilight Zone', 'Tales from the Crypt', 'Hitchcock Presents', etc…

This is true, but I just think that - because Ocasek himself used another person's creation as a springboard for his own - he could've been a bit more empathetic in dealing with it. Whatever. It's cool that CSH is getting some column inches out of it, anyway.

They didn't seek permission for it, and neither Arthur Resnick or Joey Levine are credited on The Cars' track. It was a tip of the cap, which - back in those days - was generally acceptable behaviour.

Well Ohio Express mightn't have liked *his* song, but I'd be surprised if he even bothered to ask their opinion on it.
