I love when players do stuff like this. It clearly requires so much investigation and dedication.

It kind of seems like the whole point is that there aren’t checkpoints. You get a single attempt at any one temple, but you can see the ghosts of other players’ single attempts to give you hints on what to do/not do. If you die, you can’t replay that temple anymore but other players can see your ghost.

Oh man, I remember playing the alpha versions back in the day. The tiniest updates seemed like the biggest deal back then. No one had any idea how absolutely huge the game would end up being, both in terms of popularity and just sheer feature set.

lol

How long until Musk starts mining cryptocurrency on his/other people’s Teslas?

Eh, I think the whole dichotomy of “good person vs not good person” is misleading. It suggests that some people just innately are good and that everyone else is lying, when the reality is more that “good” is subjective and everyone is just trying their best to live up to their own standards based on their personal

Visually the rover resembles Opportunity much more than Curiosity, though the scale is more in line with Sojourner. Most people tend to imagine all of the rovers as the size of Sojourner, though, so it’s not surprising that someone would look at Opportunity and imagine it’s smaller than it is.

Wish Dragon looks cute but also gives me serious Aladdin vibes. It seems like the plot is nearly identical?

There’s a reason the UI looks like something out of The Avengers: It was designed by Perception, an interface design firm that has worked on several Marvel films including The Avengers.

That obviously isn’t the purpose of this article, though. There are plenty of examples of terrible, normal crashes that result from substance abuse. This is obviously intended to promote the sensational nature of the crash. It’s the journalistic equivalent of slowing down when you see a bunch of ambulances on the

I remember playing Doom 3 when it first came out and as a kid it scared the crap out of me. So, in that way, it was a success. Also I remember accidentally discovering a glitch in the Hell section that let you fall off the map without dying and just walk around on the invisible barrier and explore, which might be

People in rural areas complain that “big cities make you liberal” but small towns don’t have any Black people and think slavery is a cute gimmick for kids’ events so idk maybe they’re the ones who need to do some self-reflection.

For sure, 100%. But there’s still something special about official additions to a game that make them worth savoring.

Maybe I’m in the minority with this opinion, but I’d rather they just delayed the whole thing. One of the best parts of a game like Minecraft is the sheer amount of exploration and discovery you can do. After a while, you’ve pretty much discovered everything the game has to offer (at which point the enjoyment factor

I don’t think it is a game, because there’s no objective and no luck or skill involved, but I also don’t think that’s a bad thing. It’s a piece of interactive media — a toy, as you noted — and that’s perfectly valid. I think people get defensive about whether or not something like this is a “game” because there is a

“I didn’t know what the word meant at the time” is a weird excuse. I’ve rarely met anyone who even had heard of the word. It’s not something you commonly hear, that someone might just pick up and get the wrong context about. If you’ve heard of it, you know exactly what it means.

As the series progressed, these Easter eggs became one of the main ways Call of Duty developers like Treyarch moved the narrative forward, while building on the lore of the universe.

I know it’s all branding, but Tesla really needs to stop being so callous about the way they name their assisted driving features. They keep calling it “self driving” or something similar and then a bunch of morons go out and take naps on the highway or something. It’s marketing 101: no matter how much “helper” or

What part of our military’s record makes you think they’re capable of avoiding disasters? If anything, they like to cause disasters.

I know there is a ton of lore and extended universe stuff they could tap to make more content, but I have no idea how they’ll do so while retaining any semblance of a sensible story. The plot as it currently stands, contained entirely within two games and their various expansions, is an absolute mess. Most attempts to
